Haiti Pediatric Ward Update

LEAP_HAMILTON-3305One of our greatest highlights in 2014 was giving witness to another beautiful unfolding prayer as to how God uses us in extraordinary ways to bless others. As you know, Janet and Pat Ortega took on the charge of leading and building a 2,000 sq. ft. multi-room, air conditioned Pediatric Ward in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The Ortegas, along with a fantastic team of dedicated, hard-working men from the US, traveled to Haiti and accomplished what few have ever seen in Haiti, completing the ward in just 16 days! Local physicians and others alike continue to come, wanting to see the miracle construction that normally takes years to accomplish in Haiti.

LEAP_HAMILTON-3351In 2015, over 4,300 pediatric patients were able to be medically evaluated due to the Pediatric Ward and the advent of the new specialty services. Over 500 patients were hospitalized and admitted to the Pediatric Ward for medical care. An additional 50 infants were admitted to the neonatal unit. These patients received the blessing of healing, made possible by the servant hearts and hands of our amazing construction team, who brought their own ministry to Haiti. To all others who made this possible for the precious children of Haiti, we wholeheartedly thank you for your contribution! God is good!
