We have a team of 29 medical and non-medical volunteers leaving for Haiti in less than two weeks to provide medical and surgical care to the children of Port-au-Prince. On this particular trip, we have two new surgeons joining us, a plastic surgeon and a pediatric ENT. In addition, we are starting the first speech therapy program at our host hospital, which will benefit cleft palate patients. LEAP travels to Haiti twice a year to help the children with a great need for free surgical and medical care.
