The students in Hyer Elementary’s Kindness and Compassion (KC) Club are committed to serving others by participating in community service projects. Last fall, the KC Club, open to fourth-graders, collected socks and blankets to give to a homeless shelter. Hyer Counselor Linde Thompson says her students are inspired to go forth to serve.
This year, the students selected LEAP Global Missions as one of their service projects. These compassionate students collected 2,500 diapers and 250 toothbrushes to help fill our patients’ post-operative totes. Thank you, KC Club, for spreading kindness to other children across the globe and making a difference!
